When adjusting the table height it is important to observe the following rules:
The table should be at a height that allows us to place our forearms comfortably on the surface in front of us when placing the keyboard and mouse.
The forearms should be parallel to the floor with a 90-100 degree angle at the elbow joints. If the angle is greater, the table is too low. If the angle is less then the table is too high.
Shoulders should feel free. If you can feel that your shoulders are slightly raised, then the table is too high
When working with a stationary monitor, the top line of the monitor should be at or slightly below eye level.
When working standing upright, it is advisable to stand freely, with your back straight, without leaning on the table surface.
It is recommended that 20-25% of the total daily working time is spent standing, with regular changes from sitting (approx. 15-20min) to standing (10-15min).
By adjusting the table height correctly and observing the sit/stand interval ratio, work efficiency increases by 10-20%. Concentration and stress levels are significantly increased.
